Medical Cremades S. L. is a practice that specializes in the diagnoses of Gastrointestinal (G.I.) pathology using procedures known as Endoscopies.
The aim of these procedures is to directly visualize the G. I. tract, obtain tissue samples (biopsies) of any diseased area and finally establish a treatment plan, if possible. It also allows for screening, early diagnosis and monitoring of the impact of that treatment.

The lower GI endoscopy or colonoscopy has become, ahead of the traditional radiology screening barium enema, the most important procedure in the early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer. It consists of the detailed exploration of the entire large bowel (colon) and last segment of the small bowel (terminal ileum) where it connects with the colon.
